Also recently came across this ElectriQ model and tbh its by far the best deal I've seen. Was going to go for an LG 34" ultrawide 1080p (WK650) but thats £329 and is just 1080p. I've read a lot of reviews and yes you get your usual BLB and dead pixel complaints but you actually get that with even £700 monitors so its just a lottery really.
Laptops Direct (assume this is where you saw it?) have a £14 warranty/service pack which covers dead pixels and light bleeds although im sceptical about this, they claim their normal warranty doesnt cover these issues so would be a total nightmare to discover this and not be able to return it. I find that a bit odd as other companies have a return policy which covers any of these reasons.
So after a hefty bit of research, I cannot see a better deal than this ElectriQ screen, ultrawide, 1440p, 100hz, VA, freesync, display port, vesa mount....ticks all the boxes! Cant wait to get it! |
