Hi all, i have a budget of 2,200 for a new 13inch laptop that runs windows with the following requirements/usage:

Coding software on it(Kotlin/java/python)Editing Media(i use premier pro, photoshop and lightroom classic)Media consumptionConference work callsTravel friendlyUSB C charging4k screen if possible.7-8h battery life on a typical day of doing some of the above tasks.I previously had a dell xps 13 9370 which was ok, but it had a issue with the berrings of the fans (2nd time it happened after 1 year usage) and i got rid of it as a result. It had a nice 4k screen but the battery life only last 4h or less on it and the web cam placement was in a bad position.

I have checked out some of the following laptops already below:

Lenovo x1 carbon 7th Gen(average/poor battery life on the 4k screen plus a huge back-order at the moment and need to wait almost a month and a half to get one)Huewai matebook x pro 2019(pop up low res chin camera is a bit of a deal breaker)Razer Blade stealth 2019( unreliability issues?)Dell xps 13 2019 varient(Got bitten twice by dell so i am doing my best to avoid them?)Is there a 4k 13inch laptop that has a 7/8h battery life? If not, is there a very good high quality 1080p screen that has the same colour gamut and colour accuracy as these 4k screens?(100% sRGB/AdbeRGB accuracy), And finally is there a 1080p screen that has at least a 450nit brightness(i will sometimes use the laptop in bright enviornments)

I would have mentioned the Dell XPS and the Lenovo X1. But you seem to have discounted those

Alternatives would then be a Microsoft Surfacebook. Or an Apple MacBook Pro.

After looking at the spec you listed, we would recommend any of the Surface Book's/Pro's. They fit everything you're after and we have some affordable models. You can look through a various selection via this link - Microsoft Surface | Deals at studentcomputers.co.uk

Hope this helps
