Pl recommend a basic computer?

My 7 yrs old dell 660  running windows 7 is still going on but have been unable to upgrade to windows 10. I have decided to buy another one. My basic needs are only general browsing you tube, face book and emailing. I also watch Netflix a lot. Currently my storage is 500 gp. I would like one with at least 8 gp and 256 ssd which I think should be enough storage for me. Also with DVD writer and wireless built in and Hmdi slot. The one I have in mind is dell small form 3470. My budget is £600. I do tend to buy dell. Pl recommend one for me. I use pc mostly for online banking and netflix as I prefer to use iPad for Facebook etc. Thanks

You don't say whether that's the Inspiron 3470 or Vostro 3470 but it sounds like you're on the right lines. Memory and storage is pretty cheap at the moment though so if you end up spending more than £450-500ish I'd be looking at 16GB of memory ( £30) and a 480GB SSD ( £20).

Smaller desktops called Mini PCs are popular at the moment, but most have dropped the DVD player.
