Slow response JVC TV

It can take up to a minute sometimes for my TV to respond to any kind of command via either the remote or manual buttons.

It has been like this since we bought the TV a year ago. But sometimes it works fine hence why we never returned it.

Is this normal? Is there a fix? What can I do?

Any advice is appreciated.

Check to see if there's a software update available, other than that there's nothing you can do.
Ideally you should have got it checked as soon as you noticed it shortly after you got it instead of waiting a year.
It's a good idea to give equipment brand and model number when asking for help.
