Toshiba RV685D (RV635) turn screen off in Radio mode?!

Hi,

I have a Toshiba RV685D tv-set (supposed to be quite similar to the RV635).


Is there any way to turn of the LCD-screen while listening to radio (using the dvb-c tuner).


I already searched the forums and can't find anything in the tv's menu.

It's quite a waste of energy and also annoying if i just wanna listen to music while in bed etc. and the big screen is still on

select radio station, press RED on the remote, when the info page loads press 0 on the remote.

but the red button doesn't have any function. In fact all the coloured keys seem to be without function for the TV.

On our toshiba use the handset press menu (home) - select settings - picture - energy saving - screen off. When you want picture back just goto menu, energy saving defaults to auto
