Sony KDL-40re453 screen problems.

So my tv is just over a year old(and out of warranty) and I noticed dark vertical lines appearing on the right hand side of the screen,they are visible mostly when watching cricket,golf,football,etc or when the picture has a white or light coloured background.
Does anyone have ideas on how or if it can be fixed?

I have the Sony kdl 40 we663 and have the exact same issue, I purchased mine from John Lewis and has been sent away to their repairers, the guy who collected it thinks it's it's either a backlight or screen issue. Waiting for them to know if repairable or new offer from John Lewis, will let you know

Report came back and was told it is a diffuser that needed replacing and parts no longer available, waiting to see what John Lewis offer now.
