Floureon dvr help

Hey everyone, I’ve just received a floureon 8 channel dvr model A6808NHS-C-UK. I’ve set it all up and was working fine. After about an hour it came up on the screen with upgrade file and a progress bar. The bar was at the end ( 100% ) when it came up. It then freezes and I have to restart the dvr to use it again. It then repeats this cycle. Has anyone got any ideas on what to do?

If you have just received it, I would send it back (Amazon I guess). These are generic £20 (£45 Retail) DVRs from China, they should just replace it. There a quite a few issues with these DVRs and plenty of information on the web. Kind Regards

Thanks for the reply. I thought this might be the case. Could you recommend one that would be worth buying?

Not at that budget price (I see the Fluoreon kits with 4 cameras and an NVR dor £99) I only really recommend Hikvision and you would be looking at £150  just for the NVR. Good quality CCTV is not cheap.

Easy mate, ive had the same issue and fixed it tonight if still struggling let me know and ill
