Ring Doorbell Pro Buzzing Transformer

Hi. Has anyone fitted a ring doorbell pro recently to replace an existing doorbell?. I purchased the most recent version of this product. I had it professionally fitted but the transformer is constantly buzzing loudly. The electrician said the transformer is faulty as they are known to be, but RING technical support said otherwise. Part of the package that was not installed was the "doorbell bypass kit" and RING said that is why the transformer is buzzing. Has anyone encountered this problem and resolved it?

I recently installed a Doorbell Pro
my old transformer used to buzz but the Ring transformer only has a slight hum
I fitted the Bypass kit which means my old Chime box now doesn't work

Are you still using the old chime box along with the Ring?

So your spark has disabled your old chime box??
It might just be worth fitting the Bypass kit and see if that helps

I fitted the ring pro myself, I didn't fit the bypass kit, but I took out the old chime box. No buzzing. I'd double check the wiring if I was you.
