Type C desktop charger

Hi,

I have just bought a new Google Pixel 3a and fitted a new Otterbox protective case which is thicker than normal cases.

Looks great and protection is excellent, however when sitting it in my bedside desktop charger, it does not push down enough on the type C connector and will not charge.

I know I can just buy a thinner case and it will work fine, but I do like the Otterbox

Does anyone know of any type C desktop chargers which have a longer type C  connector which will push in far enough to compensate for the thicker case ?

I assume you charger is a male type c connector and the phone female. Do you have a picture of the port on the charger and maybe a model number?

This idea means a manufacturer has designed a charging stand that is holding up the phone by the port connector only, which is either brilliant or more likely will break something. Buy a cable with a thinner housing around the usb c connector that is compatible with the case
