New phone for £100

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new phone for my wife for about £100. The only minimum requirements  of the spec is  for there to be at least 32GB storage and for it to be as small a screen size as possible.
Most other things my wife is quite flexible with.
I have seen a honor 8s and the specs look quite good but I didn't know if there was any better phones out there

Xiaomi a2 lite 32gb

Xiaomi note 5/6 pro/7 32 gb

all around or not much more than £100

all superb battery life 4000mah battery

i have the note 5. argos were selling the 64gb version for £99. bargain. its super smooth, lots of updates, its running the latest android 9 with the latest security update. great camera, 2 day battery life on moderate use or last a week on light use.

edit: just realized she wants small screen. in that case the Xiaomi a1 or note 4 if u can find them. they are 5.5 inch.. Xiaomi Go for around £60 brand new and it takes memory up to 128gb. it has a 5 inch screen. still decent battery life as its low powered on a smaller screen.

Go for 64 GB of storage at least. 32 GB is not enough in my opinion. Wait for some bargains (if you don't rush, wait for Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals).

64gb is not necessary unless downloading loads (hundreds) of apps and videos.

u can always add a.micro sd card for the ones above

ive just checked the specs of that phone. it has less memory, inferior chipset, smaller battery and is slower than the Xiaomis of similar price.

the note 8 is out in china/india and should be available in the uk shortly..so the price of the note 7 has dropped. meanwhile the note 6 pro can be bought for around £114.
