OPPO Reno 2 portable DAC

I've owned Apple phones since the 3G but decided I'd had enough and have just ordered an OPPO Reno 2. I do a lot of walking now and the 256gb of storage is great for my flac and wav music.
Just wondering if it is possible to add a portable USB DAC/Headphone amp using the USB C connector.

A headphone DAC with amp uses usb, coax or optical. I'm wondering of the reno outputs digital aduio via its usb.

3.5mm output jack (headphones) is analog on any phone or device
USB output- 99% sure is a digital on any device, be it A/B/micro/mini/type-C, hence it is only a question of  having a suitable cable
