For the second time in my membership of GiffGaff I have forgotten my password and attempted to contact them to change it but it is impossible because every Email address I have is a Noreply address. So can anyone tell me how I can dump them and if there is an alternative at around the same price.  Their customer service is absolute rubbish.

Text 'PAC' to 65075 if you want to keep your number or 'STAC' to 75075 if you just want to cancel it and not keep your number. As for other deals this isn't bad..

Gigg Gaff doesn't have 'customer support' it has a 'user community' that is accessible from the app or website. There is a 'forgot username or password' option on the login screen.

That said my daughter has recently moved to VOXI which uses the Vodafone network.

I would also consider the Vodafone Basics sim only plan. Cheap as chips and good packages too. Why basics? Well it cuts away with the none used parts like Roaming etc and.
You also keep the Vodafone CS part if any issues.

Me and my wife have been on it for a few months an zero problems at all. Actually looking adn moving both my parents to it as it works out cheaper for them
I also find Vodafone as the most consistant signal of all networks.

Carl.

Edit: we tried Voxi first but found again like giffgaff the CS support is web based and rubbish. We had poor 4G too which was a surprise. A bit of throttling I assumed.

In the interests of balance and fairness the customer service of the parent company Vodafone is the same

That is correct but contact was done by web instead of calling and speaking to a human.

Giffgaff do have customer support, its web based like Voxi.

Contact | giffgaff.com                                                                                                        For commercial enquiries about doing business with giffgaff send us an email to [email protected]                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                www.giffgaff.com

While sincere in intent the OP clearly is referring to telephone or in person support although in defence of giffgaff their setup as a virtual o2 network is prominently advertised. Buyer beware

Agreed, I was just correcting @lowmans100 who stated that they had no customer service when they are similar to Voxi and Smarty with an online agent system.
