The Steam reviews have held me back from buying this and from other comments I'm glad I did.

it seems to have excellent gun play, but is ultimately lifeless and a campaign that lasts barely 4 hours.

It's got loads of side stuff that would easily give you say an extra 5-10 hours but the world is that boring you dont feel inclined to do it.

It took me 25 hours to complete everything on the map including all the collectables.

The combat is excellent and everything else isn't, without the combat I would give this a 3 or 4 out of 10.

Totally agree with you, also the graphics reminded me of a bad old 360/PS3 game.

It looked like the Elder Scrolls (Oblivion) and Minecraft game engines had been merged together to make a monster that sometimes smeared grease into your eyes.

I found that Rage 2 was a bit of chore and not much fun. Just had a replay of Rage 1 and loved it.

I sort of agree, the combat is really good but sadly everything else isn't. I will try the DLC though as I've already paid for it.
