Nintendo files new patent for handheld with swappable buttons

As the title says, Nintendo have patented a handheld you can swap buttons d-pad etc. I can't link to it on the app but if you look on GoNintendo you'll find the details.

They experimented with customisable layouts on the early 3ds prototypes so not exactly new info. But does show they could be using this on the new home/handheld hybrid format.
