RF Modulator for older game systems not working

I am trying to play my old game systems on a CRT Tv because of the basically non-existent input lag.  However it's not really working and my TV is stuck on channel 73 on Antenna.  It was on channel 4 before but I think I messed up the TV's settings somehow with the RF modulator and don't know how to set them back.  It wasn't really working before either.  But I would see a faint image of the game and sometimes hear the sound.

Also I should add this is a brand new RF modulator so I'm sure it's not broken or anything.  Also I used my older RF modulator before but the image was really grainy.  I actually bought this one thinking the image would somehow be clearer thinking my older RF modulator was the problem.  Now I'm starting to think it's my TV that's not working.  I have no idea please help..

You could connect the console to a VCR (if you have one) and use that instead of the modulator.
