Xbox one X - flicker on panasonic ex700b

I've seen a few similar posts but currently had no joy.


Son's had a new Xbox one X - connected to a Panasonic EX700b - used to have xbox one connected and worked fine.


when playing games he gets a brief black screen/flicker, sometimes it's every 5 minutes or so, other times it'll be every 30 seconds or so.


ran through the xbox settings - YCC is off and set to 8 bit colour -


tried a couple of different HDMI cables - good ones - Kramer Pico


ran through the TV settings - seems fine HDMI is in mode 2, tried HDR on and off, turned off ambient light sensor etc. still no joy.


any thoughts?

setting xbox - video output to 10 bit panel seems to have cured it.
