Samsung Q8D -Xbox Dimming.

Hi,
I have a 55Q8D tv and I’ve noticed when my Xbox one x starts to dim the screen when idle, that a series of lines scroll across the screen.
I’ve made a video of this...I’ve never noticed it on other TVs I’ve had, and thought it maybe a fault of the tv.
Would anyone be able to test this for me..and set your Xbox to idle and see if the same thing happens?
I’ve tried changing hdmi cables etc all to no avail.

Hi, I appreciate you taking the time to reply to me
I probably should have worded what I wrote better..I’m aware it’s to prevent screen burn hence having it activated when I had an LG E8.
I’ve just never seen it so noticeable as it is on this tv, compared to previous TVs I’ve had, was just wondering if everyone else see’s the same to the same extent..and it’s normal.

Have you calibrated the screen? as it looks quite bright/washed out.

I’ve only calibrated it using the one in the Xbox display...I’m having it done by Steve Kemp in just over a week..so wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fault with the tv before paying out money on a calibration.
I’m not overly happy with the dirty screen effect I’m seeing..really noticeable when playing PES and Fifa.
