Question XBOX 360 dated sept 2009 - is it kaput inc controller etc>

I have a mint condition xbox 360 with kinect and some games, COD, FIFA and some others. Not used for about a year!!! could be longer. Is it now "too old"  and if I get the latest console will my existing controllers work, have 2 wireless ones?  Got that wi fi wireless dongle as well.

Can I trade it in against a new box?  Cant believe its 9 years old!!

The 360 controllers won't work on an XBox One / S / X.  And wifi dongle would be unnecessary.
A 360 should still work ok, but might need an update
I mainly use mine to buy OG Xbox/360 backwards compatible games using spare Xbox/MS Credit/giftcards - it's the only way to do this -  you need to pay with a credit card if buying 360 games via an XBox One or PC.
