The majority of users shouldn't experience issues with the PS4 Pro, if they do it may be because they're doing something wrong. I have a PS4 Pro and Samsung KS9000 and it runs perfectly (looks amazing!).
- Check if your A/V receiver supports 4K, if not then connect the PS4 Pro directly to the TV and use another HDMI cable to send the sound from the TV to AV Receiver using ARC (audio return channel).
- Use the HDMI cable that comes with the PS4 Pro, or one of the same compatibility.
- You should just be able to use the remote to select whichever HDMI slot the PS4 Pro is plugged into to get it up on the screen.
- TV Settings: Change to game mode to get the lowest latency between the game pad and what you see on the screen, other settings I'm not sure on as this will be specific to the TV, maybe worth googling it. There may be a HDMI Black Level on your settings that you can select as light or dark, think it's most likely you need this on dark. For brightness/contrast settings also find a game that has a calibration section as this is usually quite accurate. I set mine up right for Fifa 17 as you can't actually change the in game settings on here, then just adjust the in game settings for other games if necessary.
- PS4 Pro settings: By default everything should be set to automatic and work okay, but post again here if it doesn't. |
