Hi All @ AV,

I will be purchasing a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV to go with it within the next few days and I'm asking for some help on which TV to get? I currently have a PS4 connected to a Sony Bravia 42" that I bought together around 3 years ago. This has served me well and I feel now is the time to upgrade both.

I'm looking at 50" - 65" with a budget of around £700. I'm not really sold on the Curved screens, but I could be if it was the right TV for predominantly Gaming.

I have been scouring the internet for the past few weeks to get my knowledge up in anticipation of this purchase but alas I'm now more confused than ever :-(

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
PinkyTC

Check this thread My best value TVs, 2018-2019 Edition

But i believe you should get the Samsung UE55NU8000  If you don't mind a VA panel, Give Richer sounds a call one  (0333 900 0093) and get them tp Price Beat RGB Direct which have the TV for £749 £50 discount code “BF50” (£699). The RS Price Beat deal means they match, and beat based on the table of pricing, so the actual price paid was £689, with the 6yr warranty offered by Richer Sounds.

Im almost about to do the same but i really should not spend the money

Thanks for the response - I'm still looking though as my best laid plans were scuppered. Hopefully this weekend I'll have the time to get back into this and I'll be sure and post the result...... maybe even a pic

Bought a 55NU8000 for my pro, best decision I made.

TV is amazing, spent way too much time worrying if it would be too big for the wall/room but it's perfect.

Even the wife is happy with it.
