Some of the camera angles, ball tracking features and putting aids in various PGA Tour games are now being being replicated in TV coverage, and I think something similar is happening with snooker and tracking the cue ball with potential pots.
I think professional sports and gaming were always going to be compatible and complementary, it's probably the only genre that would work well though there have been attempts to make feature films from RPG's and Action/Adventure titles with varying degrees of success.
Slightly worrying stat that 82% would rather play a footie video game than a real life one. If you're in your 60's that's fair enough, but a teenager? |
