I've played both the X and Pro demos along with the PC version.
X seems to run better IMO, feeling like it holds 60 fps far more consistently than the Pro. The X version does look a touch softer though - I suspect it may be using TAA like the PC version versus SMAA on the Pro - but the sharper looking Pro version means it does have more noticeable aliasing, especially on specular highlights. Otherwise, both look great and are near indistinguishable from one another. I doubt anyone is going to be disappointed with either the X or Pro versions.
I did see a YouTube comparison video earlier of the vanilla PS4 and Xbox One versions and they definitely have a hard job holding 60 fps, the Xbox One version especially. Those versions should really be locked at 30 fps IMO. |
