Polar M600 - Swimming Chest Strap

Hi All,

I have a v800 but i'm eager to get back in to Android Wear and this seems PERFECT for my needs but, only if the chest strap heart rate monitor works with the watch whilst swimming or, at least records the HR and then syncs to the watch after.

I'm struggling to confirm if this will work with the Chest Strap whilst actually swimming in the same manner that the v800 does?

If not, any idea if/when a v800 Android Wear version will come out that WILL track heart rate in water?

I don't want to move away from the Polar eco system as i've other accessories of theirs.

Thanks!

Why waste cash on a device designed to measure your heart rate, when you can just eat complex carbs? Eat 200 gram of complex carbs per day and you can do 45 mins of hard cardio without worries

Yeah I know it wasn't, but I just don't understand why anyone would waste money on a heart monitor ever, what do you need to monitor your heart rate for? Are you at risk of a heart attack if you go above a certain heart rate or something? If so, that I could understand
