Don't really go by the potatoes now but we have switched to local farm shop Vs supermarket and taste wise we have found a big difference . Not only taste though but consistency of said tat as par boiling supermatmrket spuds is a minefield of hard as rock or falling apart.
Best mash ( for me ) is bake the tats scoop out the middle and add salt pepper n butter and just use a fork to mash em. Fantastic taste and colour to the mash and retains that waxy feel . |
