I have a rather long T12 tube in my garage, its a pretty old setup and in the garage height is a little limited.

My Tube has now gone I think, (Dim light either end, nothing in the middle) and after looking on the net it would seem the T12 diameter has been phased out as supplies are harder to come by.

CUrrently my garage gets little use, however I will be installing a small gym in there soon so will be used a lot more, ideally I would like to replace this monstrosity with a sleeker, energy efficient alternative.

The garage does not have a false/dry/suspended ceiling so recessed spots are out of the question, the existing fitting runs length ways through the middle of the garage.

Any ideas?
