LED Bulbs - What to consider?

Do I need to consider anything with regards to fuse boxes/electric circuit when wanting to replace incandescent bulbs with LEDs?  I'm moving into a new house and have looked at a few light fittings, some of which require G9 Halogen bulbs too.  Can LEDs be simply plugged into these instead?

Yes, you can use G9 LED bulbs as long as the form factor (shape) still looks ok in the fitting. More care in choice of bulb will be needed if you intend to have a dimmer in use on them.
