Well there is your key, meat quality in the UK is generally sh*t in my opinion. The demand from the public for a good quality product just doesn't seem to be there (in general). As long as it is cheap, hot and a lot people are (in general) satisfied.
Ultimately I prefer Shawarma of Doner and Gyros as a style of gooding. But definitely has to be lamb, my god you won't find pork in Turkey so why eat it here? |
