There was a concert/thank you in Paris last night for the emergency services and others who were involved in the aftermath of the night.
One thing that rarely seems to get commented on, which I think is absolutely remarkable, is the number of people who died of their injuries in the days following the attacks. One. The total went from 129 on the night to 130 a few days later. When you consider that there were, according to wiki, there were 80 taken to hospital in serious condition (the French news in the aftermath described the 80 as critical) and about 360 others injured to various degrees, to lose only one is just amazing. They are real unsung heroes and heroines. The work they did is just awesome.
