No, I am not in support of tax reform because frankly, the government would just waste it away on pointless things, their is just far too much inefficiency and it wouldn't make a dent!
How about stop given it away, or spending it on an utterly pointless train set first?

Agree to a point, they would waste it, god knows how many billions on foreign aid.

Can we keep the train set though? As I work in supplying the construction industry so will help with my job security

NO! Haha, but I fully support your job by supplying the things for overhauling the current network.. or, heaven forbid, building the infrastructure for driverless electric cars...

When we are potentially going to waste billions on a project to just save a few minutes on a train journey, nothing else really matters. When this level of idiocy exists, any money just gets wasted anyway.

I personally dont agree with HS2 and think the money could be better spent, but having said that it is quite amusing that UK Governments are constantly criticized for not investing in infrastructure and yet when they try to bring a large project forward (as in this case) everyone seems to be against it..
