Charlie higson books for adults?

Just wondering if anyone has read Charlie higson books?
I'm intrigued about them, but they seem to be for "young adults"
Which makes him plugging it on a late night adult show like 'buzzcocks' a little strange.

I've read 'The Enemy' and i'm Part way through 'The Dead' and i've also read several of the Young Bond books. I've thoughly enjoyed them all so far I'm 27, do i count as 'young adult'?
