Anyone read 'Ring'?

Probably not gonna get any answers to this haha but I'm a big fan of The Ring and am looking to read a scary / thrilling book.

Stephen King is probably the way I should go but was thinking about giving The Ring a shot since usually books are better than films.

Anyone read it?
