There's a new car dealership in my village and I used to regularly see a salesman running one or other of the showroom models up to the local garage to fill up with fuel whilst covered with the window stickers. Twice I rang to mention to the receptionist that he couldn't possibly see where he was going and for him to clear the windows first. No action forthcoming.
One morning my pupil was driving us past the petrol station and this muppet drove straight out onto the road in one of these sticker festooned new cars narrowly missing us and the car in front.
Straight down the dealership for a bit of desk thumping and threat of a call to the rozzers and problem solved. |
