BMW damaged wing mirror

Evening,

So on my way home from work some idiot decided too literally smash my drivers side wing mirror to pieces at 50mph, luckily it was nothing more serious then that. Just managed to swerve enough. Pics attached.

I obviously need it fixing so does anyone know what parts I may need? The actual mechanism seems fine and retracted back out. It seems I need the mirror and casing or do I need more?

If the mechanics/electrics are ok then you used to be able to buy the outside surround.  It came as a blank that was then painted to match your car's colour, not sure if they still do that

That's what I'm hoping, I've found this which I think is the surround I need.

Then I'll need some glass, as below

And then I'll need some mirror casing such as this,

However I'll need to make sure they are the correct parts etc.

You'll have lucked out if that casing is the right colour already   But as you say, double check it's the right part.

Cheers guys, I think the only added extra which was added to the car that I need to make sure is correct is the shadow line package as the mirror has a gloss black outer to match the other stuff in gloss black.

Looking at real oem is real confusing as there is that many different options.

I've found this on ebay which is exactly what I need, just don't need the full unit but I guess one can't be picky. Just need to decide if that's a decent price.

Yes I purchased it this morning after speaking with the seller. They said I will not be disappointed with its condition and they were posting it out to me today.

At the same time I got a message back from a bmw rep on the e90 forums who is able to get items with some discount for forum members. His reply was,

Total will be £327.36 including vat and delivery to mainland uk

The cover will come in primer
