The last line in the film's credits was incomplete. It should have said, "and George Floyd went to the grocery store, where he allegedly bought drugs, passed counterfeit currency and resisted arrest."
I watched the Oscar-nominated live action short "Feeling Through," and it had me feeling good about humanity for just a moment. And then "Two Distant Strangers" immediately flushed those good feelings down the toilet. We've all been feeling really bad the last 15 months. We need some movies that'll make us feel better. Watching this was like watching CNN or MSNBC.
What a depressing pile of Oscar contenders.
