What a great film! The creature, Reptilicus, was not a man in a suit, it's a puppet. You don't get more fun creatures than that. He's also a great monster because of his name: REPTILICUS! But further than how he moved and his name, the plot was very enjoyable. When a mining team discovers bits of flesh on a drill head, they discover a reptilian tail, frozen in the muck below the ground. After being removed from the ground, It is transported to the Denmark aquarium, where, after accidentally thawing out, begins to regenerate into a full-fledged, winged monster. He escapes from his Aquarium prison, and goes on a rampage. Several people try to find ways of destroying the beast, but soon realize that blowing up the creature, could create hundreds of more reptilian behemoths. Do not miss this film it is a true gem of the 60's.
