After watching The Iron Horse I thot that the railroad was a back breaking work but aft reading bah Jesse James n seeing this film....

I first saw this in the early 90s on a vhs.
Revisited it recently.

The plot without spoilers - Railroad authorities forces farmers to give up the land for the railroad for dirt cheap. Some sell off easily while the ones who resist r dealt with force.

This movie has more romantic angle to it with less focus on the shootouts but it is not a bad movie.

The last few mins r filled with tension n suspense before the coward.....
The film has lovely settings n the acting by both the lead is top notch.

score 8/10
