It's terrific and absolutely worth watching!

I think the majority of the bad reviews must stem from those who watched only the first episode. It took the full first episode for the cast to find its equilibrium, but by the second episode, it all gels and becomes compelling. The acting is very good and show well cast. The writing is actually really good. I binge watched all eight episodes today, and I walk away very satisfied with the series and hope it gets a second season. The Will Scott character is terrific, as are the two female leads who play Rece and Claire. The young actress who plays Leah, the daughter, has a bright future. It was fun to see the actor playing Robert, who played Leo in Charmed, older, more mature, and in a lead role. There are some standout performances - the character Andre, the actor Andre Cullen Chambers, and John Reardon, who is always terrific in everything he's in - one of my favorites on Hallmark - gives a breakout performance in Cypher. Conversely, I wasn't enthralled with the head of the syndicate character or the mouse and snake story. That said, I recommend this series highly and would very much like to see it renewed. Give it an afternoon!
