This movie has a soft spot on my heart...
When I was a kid, my father used to have a side-job as a movie projector operator in the local cinema. Sometimes I was with him in the projector room; I remember watching this film, sitting on a tall wooden bench and peering through a very small window to the screen. For a 6-year old boy, it was all magic...
I remembered best the scenes where the female hero slept in the eggshell and the huge dinosaur thought she was her baby, and the flood/tsunami at the end.
Of course I was then too young to admire the scantily-clad pre-historic women :).
