Every one on earth could realize that this TV picture could have been really better than this. I don't know the real story this feature is based on, but the Alan Parker's movie, inspired by another story, I admit, was far far better than this one. I guess the actual story has been smoothed down for the largest TV audiences. Anyway keep always in mind that reality, actual situations, may be more boring, more unbearable - impossible to show - or more unbelievable than fiction. Always. So, back to this all public stuff, I find here too many clchés and predictable scenes. That's my own opinion. You can live without it. No problem. And the inmate, the convict who is authorized to get laid behind bars - with Kay Lenz - I also guess that was real in the story, but hmmmm...
