Do not under any circumstances read the negative reviews. As a previous user states, this is how it's done! A blueprint of compassionate storytelling, how you write, act, direct, and produce a true crime story.
The acting is phenomenal, the attention to detail and insight into a painstakingly complex investigation, of one the most hideous and brutal crimes of the last 50 years.
The police investigation, the focus on the main character, despite being only partial look into his life. The Investigation has achieved s piece of TV that is remarkable, unsensational, moving. It is slow, but each scene is present and necessary to correctly create a thoughtful story progression that is not only gripping but has all of the necessary ingredients to help the viewer understand how difficult the journey to reach a conviction was.
Powerful scenes, excellent cinematography, impressive film work, close shooting, help create a piece of film that honours the family and sadly the deceased experiences.
It might not be for some, but that's just a question of taste, rather than any failure of this drama.
Thanks to all those that took part in creating this breathtakingly sad story. My deepest condolences to the family, friends and those that knew the lady.
