Essential viewing, pure and simple. Strong, patient progress through an excruciatingly difficult puzzle, a real-life police investigation that becomes a crucible separating the dedicated from the time-serving. No glitz, no melodrama, no grandstanding. The acting is perfect - quiet and real. We connect with the characters and can sense their thoughts and feelings, often without them having to say anything. Featuring some familiar faces from other Nordic Noir series; even the dogs make their contribution to the powerful emotional pull. I can't praise this highly enough. Do not miss it.
