While not great, it's above average for a straight-to-video horror movie. Nice atmosphere, good acting, and decent direction.  The only major problem I have with it is this:  No matter how careful one was, there is no way one could construct all the devices  used in the finale without the residents of the house finding out.  They'd either have to be completely deaf or totally (un-PC alert) retarded.  But then, almost all horror movies (even better ones than this) have unbelievable endings.  (That - bad endings - is THE curse of the genre.)

If any of the actors appeal to you -- Allison Lange (other "B" horrors and a recurring part on "Roswell"); John Savage (THE DEER HUNTER and "Dark Angel"); Brendan Fehr (THE FORSAKEN and "Roswell"); or Brad Rowe (BILLY'S HOLLYWOOD SCREEN KISS and the TV mini "The 70s") -- check it out.
