It's designed for kids, but it's the best near-future science-fiction series I've seen in years. It's also the best network effort since the first season of The Expanse.
In a year that brought us the objectively terrible "vapid models in space" of Another Life and the "whatever the hell that's supposed to be" of Vagrant Queen, The Astronauts is a welcome dose of quality writing.
It's for children but never childish (except maybe the poop episode) and never disappoints.
