Love Andie McDowell since her days with Tarzan and St. Elmo's Fire. Her best work to me is "Green Card", "Four Wedding and a Funeral", "Groundhog Day", and "Sex, Lies, and Videotape". With that said, this TV-series is certainly not one of her memorable works. She was just okay, nothing spectacular as the same for all other actors involved. The only spectacular thing that I love about this series is the beautiful landscape and scenery of such a quaint and peaceful small town by the water along with mountains, hills, and pastures to match.

The first season is interesting enough to pull me into the second season. The first part of second season starts to unravel with all the ridiculous story lines and wishy-washy characters. They are all supposed to be adults, but acting more or less like teenagers in high school. Changing their minds one second to the next without a real necessary reason to do so. And not to mention, what kind of town is that most (if not all) adults are either divorced, single but jumping from one relationship to the next at a drop of a hat, and constantly making one mistake after another. The only people with a steady relationship are the bed and breakfast operators, besides the single hippie restaurant owner... but then, their characters are underdeveloped and minor in the whole story line which has no impact on the audience.

So boring and mundane that I could not watch anymore past the third or fourth(?) episode of season two. Did not watch season 3 at all.
5 stars for the scenery and the first season only.
