I knew this movie wasn't going to get any better, but we stuck it out till the disappointing end. We were excited to see this movie because Cindy Busby was in it and it had Lake Tahoe as a back drop. Even Cindy couldn't elevate the level of acting by the rest of the cast. Torrance Coombs was so bad I was actually looking for him reading his dialogue from cue cards. He was wooden, his lines lacked sincerity, he was boring, and he definitely was miscast opposite Cindy. The rest of the cast lacked believability as well.

And then there was Lake Tahoe. What an incredible place to capture those "post card" pictures. I think Lake Tahoe was disappointed as well. Except for the cabin and the flyover in the beginning of the movie of the road approaching Emerald Bay, it looked as though it was all green screen. UGH! The worst green screen was looking East from Emerald Bay. Not a ripple in the lake nor a single tree limb moving from the wind. I hope the rocks that they were at a couple times were at Sand Harbor, it looked like it.

I gave this 3 stars, and I was generous. One for Cindy Busby and two for Lake Tahoe, though both were disappointing. Oh yea...we live in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. Lake Tahoe was the star of this movie.

score 3/10
