As a child I had no appreciation for "The Snow of Kilimanjaro". On a small black and white television Ava Gardner and Susan Hayward definitely passed for twins. I now have a 65" or Sharp's Aquos Television. After watching today I was awed by the incredible cinematography. It reminded me of "Blood and Sand" on two counts, the brilliant colors and the limited camera movement in many scenes that reminded me of paintings rather than film. Now I wish I could see it in a theatre using an original film print.
