You would think a movie that had this many "names" in it would have been at least tolerable. Think again.
"Ghost Team" tells a tale about a young man, stuck in a dead-end life, who is obsessed with things that go bump in the night. He so longs to lead his own paranormal research team he would do just about anything to achieve his real dream. Enter some old man babbling about a "haunted barn," and the chase is on.
Not even John Heder, Justin Long, or Amy Sedaris can save this lame- ass excuse for a movie. The script was horrible, although up to a point the movie does manage to create an atmosphere of "something's out there". However, it could not decide what it wanted to be. The "twist," although very plausible, could not keep it interesting or entertaining. The talents of Amy Sedaris are wasted.
I viewed this On-Demand, which advertised the movie as rated "R". I checked it out, and it is really only PG-13, and that's a TAME PG- 13. There is really only one off-color word, no violence, no sex, and, well...really not much of anything.
A wasted attempt that could have been a real hoot had the script been about 20 times better than it was.
