As Kevins Bacons character is quite sadistic the longer the film goes on! If like me you don't swim and are not a big fan of heights, then this isn't for you and one of his charges is a bit like me! Bacon is thoroughly rotten and its hard to believe he leaves 4 kids on their own for part of the movie. Hes more of a survival expert than a teacher/guide-his way or no way! Thus the movie has quite a bit of the fear factor in it and after watching you certainly would not want your kids going anywhere with a guy like this for whom "health and safety" don't apply-as he doesn't care if one or more don't return home!
