Shorta is a rarely seen Danish Action thriller. The acting is really good throughout, and the film crew has put themselves in the saddle trying to make the police work methods as close to reality as possible, which succeeded pretty well. Yes, the film is a bit Americanized, with helicopters across the fictional Ghetto - Svalegården, but the film is so insanely nuanced, and with exciting action sequences and an oppressive atmosphere, the film is one of the best Danish films I have seen in 2020. It's a shame, however, was Simon Sears's Jens Høyer's fate, which I really wanted a different ending to. Besides that, Shorta can go on to become a real Danish film gem.
