Favourite Comedy of the 80's

"Sure Thing" is our personal favourite comedy of the 80's. One of Rob Reiner's earliest efforts but one of his best. John Cusack and Daphne Zuniga have a wonderful and very believable chemistry. Best Line of movie "... you don't understand, my Dad said specifically I could only use the credit card in case of emergency." "Well, maybe one will come up." Second favourite line "Nick's your buddy." Third favourite line "I'm the kind of guy who likes to live on the edge."Singing in the bar scene a hoot. Mixup with assignment and Penthouse letter is hilarious. Learning how to shotgun beer a useful life skill. Sound track is excellent. A feel good movie with a great ending.
